TIme to start Pickin Christmas Carols
And on mandolin, they are lovely! I have a wonderful book in my store with fantastic sounding arrangements-see the pic of the songbook at the upper right? Hit the link to go bid on it & have a chance of getting it at a deal! I love mandolin for it's portability-and when your caroling or visiting a beloved friend or relative, who wants to lug around a big instrument? If you have friends who love the holiday season,(and I think musicians love more than most) get em together and see what you can work on together-form a holiday music group and see what transpires.

Drops of Brandy-New Ideas
I've been working on Drops of Brandy-not the drink, the song! And it's starting to come along. Was pickin while watching the SNF game and 60 min. Really starting to feel a bond with the mando.
I'm currently working on some new ways to make the music books I have up for sale more enticing-esp with the holidays fast approaching! I'm coming up with some "nifty gifty" ideas that you'll be seeing in a bit.
Another revision to my hand woven strap-I noticed using mine that the hole for the strap pin was stretching to being too big-and I tailored it with sewing needle & thread. Worked like a charm & now I know to do this on any more that I make (don't want any accidents!) before they get to being used. Thankfully I haven't had any orders yet. I may do yet another revision on this before I start accepting orders.
I'm expecting a shipment of music books to arrive any day now,so do keep an eye on my Bonanzle booth!
